What if you go over the 16 hours? And do you need 34 hour reset after a 16 hour exemption or just 10 hours?

The TruckingOffice ELD has a feature that allows for the 16hr exemption. To qualify for the ELD 16 hour exemption you have to be a local driver that goes home every night. The purpose of the rule is to prevent a minor breakdown like a blown tire cause you to be stranded overnight. It is not intended to provide extra time on your ELD for a daily route.
