Most big logistics companies already have a team for brokering loads to trucking companies when needed. Maybe just ask if there is already a procedure for freight brokering.

I find that first working for big logistics company gets invaluable experience on the trucking industry. Im currently working at a logistics company and I want to broker a truck whenever we are low on trucks. How do you suggest I approach my management about this?

It’s hard to become a freight broker without some prior experience. The best way to learn more about it is to work for an existing truck broker company for a year or two, then venture out on your own after that.
